I’m thrilled to announce the birth of Freedom Trio, a powerful new ensemble born from my deepest artistic and cultural convictions. Joined by two of my longest and most trusted collaborators—Reggie Washington (bass) and Arnaud Dolmen (drums)—we embark on a musical journey celebrating the spirit of resistance, freedom, and the unyielding fight against oppression.
This project is a tribute to the Caribbean soul, weaving together the fiery rhythms of Gwoka, the infectious pulse of biguine, and bold, original compositions—all reimagined through the lens of Afro-Caribbean tradition. Our music is a call to stand tall, to remember, and to resist.
We’ve already shared the stage in France, Belgium, and Germany, where the energy of the crowds and the warmth of the press confirmed what we already knew: this music resonates. Now, we’re heading into the studio to capture the essence of Freedom Trio on our upcoming album. Stay tuned—this is just the beginning.
